Our highest torque paddle, the Trident Elite is designed for power output and strong competitors. The Trident Elite is our largest blade, whilst smaller than many in size it is larger than most in torque and the efficient transfer of power.

The Trident Elite, like the Trident Ultra, derives its power and clean stroke from three primary features: The wide point of the Elite blade is not at the tip, but in the middle of the paddle template. By moving the wide point off the tip and to the center, we distribute the pressure more evenly across the blade at the beginning of the stroke and decrease tip loading pressure that comes from pear shaped blades resulting in inefficient flutter.

The curve you see at the top of the paddle face increases back pressure on the blade and torque through your stroke. Placement of this at the top of the paddle is critical to performance.

The oval shaft is stiff. Stiffness = power and efficiency.
