These boards have a little extra glass on the deck so they will wear a bit longer than a dedicated performance shape and the FCS fin system allows you to tune your board to higher performance as you advance.
This board will stay in your quiver years after your first wave
"It rides smooth and is quick to paddle into waves. Ive had some gnarly rides on my blue board, and some pretty mellow relaxing ones as well. all around its a super fun board. "

- Polyester (PU)
- TRADITIONAL POLYESTER OR PU TECHNOLOGY
Polyester or PU construction uses traditional materials and laminating techniques to produce a strong, reliable surfboard with high quality finishes. All polyester boards are CNC milled from the shapers files and laminated by hand using quality components such as Hexcel fiberglass, Silmar resin and Bennett foam.
For years traditional polyester boards have been at the forefront of performance surfing. These boards feature a progressive flex pattern controlled by a high-grade timber stringer and feel very reliable under your feet. Polyester construction will perform in all surf conditions and can be adapted to suit a wide variety of surfboard models. You can find out more about GSI's surfboard construction on our surfboard technologies page

Dave from California, USA says:
I just got out of the water...Sunset Cliffs, CA. Conditions were head high to two feet over head with big walled up lefts and rights. Nice steep shoulders...small barrels on the take off. Tons of fun on a Thanksgiving day. I borrowed this board from my roomate. He is novice but I have been surfing for 17 plus years. I just want to say that this board rips! I'm not a beginner and I had tons of fun on this board. It's light, paddles well, is fast, and turns super well off the top and in the pocket, I belive it would handle double over head waves too. I'm buying one...for sure!
meg from fl, usa says:
I love my blue board,it was very easy to learn on.I bought it like 6 years ago,it has held up well i must say!!Everyone who tried my board likes it,despite how girly it looks the guys still like riding it.I am looking for a new board but i will always keep that one, didnt want to trade it in,but mine is 7'2 i think i want a longer board
CLIFF from CALIFORNIA, USA says:
RIDES GREAT IN ALL LOCAL CONDITIONS EASY TO PADDLE TURNS OUT MY EIGHT YEAR OLD SON LOVES TO RIDE IT ALSO
Jack Murray from NJ, USA says:
I took one to Tortola, BVI with me and i've surfed it here in New Jersey. In both places I had a great time on it. I recommend this board to anyone learning or just having fun without getting too technical.

Jamie from California, USA says:
i bought a blue board about 4 years ago & it is still in perfect condition. it rides really well in small to even pretty heavy surf. My board has been through a lot and i have never had any serious damage to it. It rides smooth and is quick to paddle into waves. Ive had some gnarly rides on my blue board, and some pretty mellow relaxing ones as well. all around its a super fun board.
Robert Steffes from Louisiana, USA says:
I bought a 7'6" as my first board almost a year ago and it rides E-Z; put my seond one on lay-a-way a week ago, a 6'10", looks like it'll ride sweet too! definelty has more of a shortboard edge to it in this size, very light too..
Ian from Texas, USA says:
I'm an Australian recently relocated to Texas. I got the board in 7,6" and have found it great for riding the smaller surf here in the gulf. The width also makes it really stable and fast to paddle. Heaps of fun even just playing in the shories.

Roman from Western Au, Australia says:
I bought the board in 6'10" it is fast and easy to paddle .I would reccomend t to every advanced beginner or every body who wants some fun in smaller waves
