The Blakcat has a medium rocker overall, with an extended flat section between the stance to give the board good speed and drive.

The outline is a balanced outline with the wide point just back from center, and it is generally shaped with a squash tail to give a nice smooth and loose feel off the back foot.

A medium single concave runs throughout the bottom of the board, providing plenty of lift and speed to free the board up on the wave face. Having the single concave throughout the board gives you a broad sweet spot that is easy to find regardless of your stance.

The foil of the board has been designed to create a very responsive feel while maintaining as much forgiveness as possible for a performance shortboard.

The 2012 stock dimensions are about 1-2 inches shorter and 1/2 inch wider than ever before, giving the board more stability and versatility in everyday waves.
